If you’re seeking a day of pure relaxation mixed with a touch of adventure, La Fortuna’s hot springs offer exactly that. Nestled at the base of the Arenal Volcano, the area boasts natural thermal waters that have been soothing travelers for generations.
When I planned my visit, I wanted more than the typical resort experience. I craved something intimate, a place where I could feel the jungle around me and the geothermal warmth beneath me, uninterrupted by crowds.
🌿 My Journey Begins
I arrived just before noon, driving past the main resort entrances. A narrow path led me into a quiet section of the rainforest, where steam curled from riverbanks and birds called from the canopy above. Parking my car, I walked along a small trail until I reached a pool hidden among mossy rocks.
